Two thoughts on Cubes
- BlogMaverick is down....I think Cuban is very very depressed.
- Do you think his constant complaining and conspiracy theorizing ever gets the players down? If your boss was constantly telling you that the Man had it out for you would there come a point where you just accept defeat? Just an odd atmosphere in which to try and succeed.

Yo, Cuban's blog is back up....I guess he is out of hibernation.
Ya, I saw it's up now. Interesting that he has no say on the finals.
I'm really starting to think his public persona is a hindrance to the team.
I am not so sure...He talked a lot during the San Antonio series, as he called their water "dirty" and that was right before game 7, which the Mavs won on the road. Also, Cuban only got loud once the refs started making extremely questionable calls. I think the refs let the Heat play extremely physical on defense and that is why they ultimately won. Yes D-Wade was amazing, but because the Heat were playing such physical defense on Dirk, specifically when they were denying the ball, he couldn't get the ball at the positions on the floor that he likes (corner elbow or top of key). I give credit for to the Heat because while I think they fouled Dirk often as he tried to get to the ball, the refs weren't calling it and the Heat figured that out in game 3.
